On the 8th of 1937, a pedestrian was run over at Times Square by a hit and run car. The man was the Spanish violinist Manuel Quiroga, who was touring the United States from coast to coast presenting his works, as he had done in other occasions during his prolonged carrier. Quiroga, considered one of the best violinists of the moment, had been living in a world of fame and recognition for some time. He’s at the top of his carrier. But this accident, trivial in principia, will have an irreversible effect, commencing his personal and professional downfall that will end up in his consumption, relegating his name to the darkness of the forgotten.
