Synopsis

On 1 June 1943, a squadron of German bombers shot down a commercial aircraft off the coast of Cedeira. There were no survivors. The most illustrious victim was Leslie Howard. He was known to be a Jew, an anti-Nazi propagandist and a Hollywood heartthrob, but history is often written with fragments of what has already been forgotten. This is the story of what may or may not have been Leslie Howard’s last journey.
